Gough admitted that without the popular dance show he would not have had the conviction to pursue a television career.
"I was the outsider from week one and surprised everyone by the end. I improved throughout the series and shocked everyone," the Daily Express quoted Gough, as saying.
"I loved it, to be honest I am never going to be one to admit that I'm a good dancer, I would not go that far, but I did really enjoyed it."
"It was a great experience and it taught me new things and it gave me confidence to do things which I wouldn't have had the confidence to do before. It's definitely one thing you don't associate with a cricket player from Yorkshire. It was fantastic," he added.
The 40-year-old has launched a new cooking show in a bid to inspire men to give women a break and give cooking a go this holiday season. (ANI)
