We really did well last year: Yuvraj

Indian middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh was happy to be with world top players in the ICC One-day team of the year.
How is your injury? It will take some time. But condition is much better. The doctors are saying that it might take 4 to 6 weeks for the recovery. Tell us something about the debacle of the Indian team in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy? Very unfortunate. Even after losing to Pakistan we would have reached the semi-final if the Australia match would not have washed out. We are all pretty disappointed. You are there in the ICC One-day team of the year. It's a great honour that my name is there with the top players of the world. We really did well last year. What are the key factors for you for being such a consistent batsman? Nothing really. For the last twelve months I have got the opportunity to bat up the order. This gives a lot of confidence because you know if you fail, the others will carry the team but at number 6 or 7 you don't get that confidence because you know very well that nobody is behind you. It seems the ICC Champions trophy is not the favourite tournament for you? Not at all. I was injured and hurt my knees in the last ICC Champions Trophy. This time I broke my finger. I don't know what would happen next. When will you be able to get back in the national team? Don't know yet. Will try to come back to the ground as early as possible. Maybe in the last phase of the One-day series against Australia. It all depends how fast the injury gets healed up.
